Let me first reminisces about the following Bollywood song -
'kahin pe nigahein kahin pe nishana' (you appear to look at something though your target/aim is different).

Yes crossed eyes is a medical condition and most commonly caused by weakness of the muscles in one or both eyes. Medical treatments are available depending upon the severity and type of problem.

Crossed eye are known as "squint" in the medical profession. And those eyes take time to get back to regular. There are some of the therapy and medicine that can be take to adjust the line of sight. Though this does not affect the way eyes look immediately but over the years sight gets adjusted.

There are some of the eye specialist that can guide you on this. You need to also alternatively give rest to one eye by using bandage for 1 or 2 hours every day. This allows your other eye to get straight line co ordination.

Why it occurs? There are many reasons. Sometimes due to genetics or say inheritance, sometimes due to childhood fever or conversions etc. There are many reason that things happen like this. So it's not always possible to control things.

The crossed eyes in the medical term is known as squint eyes and as a result of this there is an alternate divergent squint meaning thereby the eyes cannot focus correctly in an object.
This abnormality can be detected by an eye - specialist and a minor operation is needed to get rid of this abnormality. However, the surgery if done at the earlier stage is less risky and even it offers a permanent solution.
The other way is to approach a Homeopath for the correct prescription of a Homeopathic medicine in order to get rid of squint.
