Which common vegetables contains higher percentage of carbohydrates?

Diabetic people have to take care and precaution to ensure that they are not taking any food item which contains high percentage of carbohydrates. Though in case of fruits and cereals, high carbohydrates containing food items are generally known, but in case of vegetables it is not that much known. Which common vegetables contains higher percentage of carbohydrates?

Higher percentage of carbohydrates vegetables are as follows;

Yam 27g
Sweet Potatoes 20g
Beetroot 8g
Carrot 8g
Onion 8g

Less carbohydrates vegetables are as follows;

Mushroom 0.5g
Spinach 1.5g
Sweetcorn 2g
