What fruits should not be eaten by diabetic people?

Diabetic people have to avoid intake of sweet items. There are many varieties of fruits available in the market. How to know, which fruits should not be taken by the diabetic people? Please tell the names of few common fruits which should not be taken by the diabetic people.

Fruits with excessive sugar in it should be avoided at all cost. The fruits such as- grapes, Papaya, Pineapples, banana and blackberries.

There are some of the fruits which can be taken in the moderate amount.

Here are some of the fruits which are good for eating in diabetes.

1. Kiwi
2. Watermelon
3. Black jamun
4. Star fruit
5. Guava
6. Pomegranate

You can eat the above listed in moderate amount of on weekly basis.

A diabetic patient shouldn't eat any fruit which contain sugar. Sugar injures the health for these type of people. Some fruits which shouldn't be eaten by diabetic people are:-
1.banana
2.mango
3.guava

Banana 12g per 100gms
Cherry 8g per 100gms
Pomegranates 14g per 100gms
Mango 14g per 100gms
Grapes 16g per 100gms
Figs 16g per 100gms
Pineapple 10g per 100gms
Apple 10g per 100gms
Kiwi 9g per 100gms

Hi dear friend,

Following precautions should be taken by an diabetic patient-

1) A diabetic patient should avoid fruits which contains added sugar.

2) A diabetic patient should use fruits which contains less carbohydrates.

3) A diabetic patient should eliminate use of soft drinks,energy drinks,cakes,chocolates,cakes and other sugar added items.

The fruits containing high glycemic index beyond 60 are not safe to consume the diabetic patients. It would be better for them to avoid Mangoes, Bananas, Grapes and Guavas.
However, these fruits can be taken in moderate amount sometimes in order to get satisfaction emotionally.
Apples and Black - berries are always benificial for them. In Ayurveda, extract of Black berries and the seed of Black - berry in powdered form are utilised to control excess blood - sugar.
