Drone photography makes use of the drone of specific kind that can handle the wireless camera connection. The photographer gets to either record video or still shots. You can travel with drone upto specific distance and then take the shots. The range upto which you can use the drone is decided by the wireless capacity of the device included.

Drone photography requires permission due to it's nature of affecting privacy and other legality. So unless it is used for nature landscape shot within private premise where you are allowed to use then, usage of the equipment requires permission from Government.

You can use the camera for the wedding or other private function. All you have to do is take the permission from the premise owner only.
