If your daughter interested in the engineering course, then there are many engineering courses. she can join the following courses.
Computer science engineering.
Electronics and computer science engineering.
Information and technology engineering.
There are few courses, which have great scope in future.
These courses also suitable for female candidate. So, she can join one of them.
if you have any other problem or any doubt then feel free to ask on this site.
happy to help

If your daughter is having inclination for the Engineering - course, let her allow to continue the same. The Engineering - course has a number of streams such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, chemical, Instrumentation, Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer - science and so on. Please help her in choosing the right stream where she can perform outstanding result.
To get admission in a reputed Institute should be her main aim like IIT or other regional Engineering - colleges after her passing class twelve Examination. During her class eleven and twelve stage, she must have conceptual clarities in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics so that any competitive - examination like IIT or state - level just to get seat in Regional Engineering College should not be difficult. Passing Engineering from a premier Institute is the foremost criteria to get placement from the topmost companies through campus - placement in the last semester of your B.Sc( Engg) Examination. The best option would be to choose Computer - science if she is having liking for it.
A Management - course undertaken through IIM would be best choice after completion of your Engineering. You must have dedication and sincerity in your studies in the areas which you are likely to take up. An outstanding performance in Engineering coupled with IIM would open up excellent oppurtunities in the later stage.

There are many options to look out for in engineering as already mentioned in the earlier response.
Along with engineering I would strongly advice to avoid any extra course. The reason: engineering is a professional full time and semester based course. Till XIIth students are used to yearly curriculum. But semester pattern is quite hectic since in four months a student studies 5-8 subjects. The term comprises of theory, practical, tutorials, assignments, projects, journals and tests. This is quite time consuming and tedious.
Once the term is over, exams are just round the corner. By the time the exams are over, you just get 1-2 weeks after odd term and around a month after even term. There is hardly any breathing time and the next term begins.
The long vacation of a month can be ideally spent for some NGO voluntary work or Internship/ Project. It will help in getting exposed to the industrial environment and applying the theory learnt to practice.
So in a nutshell I would strongly advice that with engineering think of doing only engineering, concentrate on studies and score well.
After graduation in engineering you can opt for MS/MTech/ME or opt for MBA/ MMS.
Hope this helps.
All the best!

In case of engineering, it helps to take the course related to the interview preparation. Also there are some of the courses for the improvement of communication skills.
You can learn a lot of such skills and this may help out in the employment as well. I'd say that courses that helps in employment can be really good. Most of the people try to do those courses.
I'd also suggest the daughter to ask around within the students for which course to take. Most likely the students discuss this with each other. And this should make them aware of what to learn as well.
Internship in the companies can be really a good way to start your career. Most likely that eventually helps in getting some work experience. Some companies also hire those who have experience such as this. That helps for jobs and other experience.

It is right time to finally decide about the course to be taken after 10+2 stage. In case she is interested in engineering, then let it be so. However it should be explained to her that merely doing B.Tech. by securing admission through management quota on payment of capitation fee is of no use. The parents should not buy a degree like an expensive toy for the children. Instead the children should work hard to pass tougher kind of competitive entrance examinations to secure admission in premier engineering colleges like IIT/NIT etc. Therefore the next two years are very crucial for the student. Leaving aside all other activities like social activities, 100% should be given for studies of 10+2 course as well as for preparation regarding entrance examination.

It is the right time to plan things for a good future. An additional course always help you to ensure a good career and future. Below are some of the additional courses which will help your daughter to plan a better future.
Aptitude and Logical reasoning training will help the students to deal with aptitude and logical reasoning questions easily. Such questions will be a part of most of the interviews and government examinations. It is important for students to have good knowledge in aptitude and logical reasoning skills. There are tips which given during the course time will help the students to perform better in examinations.
Communication Skills are very important for a student to get a good job. Most of the companies give importance to communication skills. There are lot of students from India is not good enough in communication. Communication skills development course will help the students to increase their communication skills.
Programming Language course will help to increase their coding skills. I suggest to choose one particular course and give full attention to that rather than choosing a bunch of courses. Java, .Net and Oracle are all time favorite courses among students.

Here is my piece of advice on this topic -
1. No need to do any additional course along with engineering, because engineering will eat up all the time and it is a serious course and requires full attention.
2. After completing the engineering I suggest to go for MBA/PGDM from a good b-school.
3. Ideally one should work for about 2-3 years before going in for MBA/PGDM course.

I didn't get what you exactly mean. Do your daughter want to do additional course along with engineering or your intention is to say other course beside engineering to be pursued ?Anyway the following shall help you to get into a right decision.
As you said your daughter is still studying at 10th standard.Even after 10th standard there is a vast scope for doing engineering due to growth and diversified in industries, the need for engineers has been increased ,so taking view of this the governments of most of the countries introduced modern way of doing engineering. Most of us know to pursue engineering, one must have passed 12th(10 +2) with PCM but despite of that we can also choose to pursue our study in the field of engineering mere with 10th passed qualification.Through polytechnics it is possible to get 3 years diploma in engineering and after that if one is interested to do further study in engineering then he/she can get admission into the degree in engineering(BTECH) through direct lateral entry in some colleges or can go for job if not interested.
But after 12th,she must have Physics,Chemistry and Math at 12th standard beside that she has to clear entrance exam to get admission into the government colleges and prominent private colleges. Some are the entrance exams that conduct in india are AIEEE, BITSAT, IIT JEE, ENAT, CETK, COMEDK, MHTCET,GATE etc. So to get admission into the prominent engineering colleges of india, one should have to crack one the above mentioned exam. The list of some best engineering colleges in india are :-
Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
VIT University, Vellore.
National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
Birla Institute of Technology. etc
But i suggest you if she intend to do engineering than let her to do without engaging her into different course because at a time most of the students can't give effort equally toward different courses and moreover engineering itself have a vast course content.
