There are hundreds of rural banks, co-operative societies and other micro-financing organisations operating in rural, semi-urban areas and small towns all over India. They provide substantial number of local jobs to local people, which are generally not known in metro cities. In addition, private financing institutions and mutual fund AMCs (based on bigger cities) are now spreading their roots to the smaller cities and semi-urban areas to tap the substantial customer base in those areas.
Under these circumstances, an educated individual with relevant educational qualification and having flair to work in micro-financing sector, can/will get adequate opportunities provided he/she is ready to work in rural/semi-urban areas or villages.
