The author is advised to review the instructions/guidelines issued in the advertisement carefully. Generally it is mentioned in all such cases that 'any false/ incorrect information found/detected at any stage, his/her candidature/appointment will be summarily rejected'. However in the cases of recruitments of postmen, the minimum educational qualification is - 'matriculation from recognized board/university' without any minimum percentage marks criteria. Also the candidates are required to furnish a 'declaration' to the affect that 'inputs furnished by him/her are true, complete and correct to best to his/her knowledge and they will produce the original documents/testimonials as and when required/demanded'.
In my opinion in the given circumstances, nothing can be done except to wait for the results.Only after appearance of the name of the candidate in the final merit list, further proceedings will commence. It will depend on the attitude of the the official entrusted with the duty of verification of original documents also in case the author reaches that stage.

As far as the eligibility criteria for the post of Post - man is concerned, it is Matriculation and no pass percentage of marks has been fixed.
There is a provision of a written test comprising General - English, Mathematics and some elementary knowledge of General - knowledge and upon the clearance of the written test, you have to face the Oral - interview followed by the Medical - test.
Your declaration of 70 percent marks in lieu of 69.69 may be explained in course of Interview that it was done for the sake of rounding - off of the aggregate - score and there was no malefic intention behind it.
