What is chocolate and how it is manufactured? Is it a natural product or a synthetic one? What are the nutrition facts of chocolate? Are there any adverse health effects associated with eating chocolate in excessive quantity? Are there any Indian equivalent of chocolates?

Chocolate is made up from the cacao seeds. First it was started from Europe and Africa and later was spread across the globe. The seeds were earlier used to create powder. This powder was later used like coffee milk mixture. And after the popularity of the drink the recipes came up from around the world. The most common usage being used in cake, liquid chocolate, toffee and other products.

It is a manufactured product, though organic in nature, these days they add some preservatives for retaining the flavor and taste.

Some of the nutritional benefits of the chocolate are as follows -

1. Chocolate contains lot of Antioxidants which can be really good for the health.
2. It also contains Serotonine which helps people in depression and heart issues.
3. It also contains minerals such as magnesium, calcium, iron into it which is healthy for the body.

There are many other health benefits of the coffee. However depending on the amount of sugar you;re supposed to take, the consumption should be moderate.
