The first change is of the fees of IITs.
The fee has been increased from Rs 90000 to Rs 200000 per annum almost 108% increase from the previous year fees.

  • Another important change is of the cut off marks. It is likely to be increased.
  • The advance paper of JEE will not be a multiple choice paper instead it will be a written exam where students have to solve questions showing all the steps.
  • In PUC boards only 2nd year marks will be considered instead of considering both year marks.
  • To be eligible for writing the JEE mains exam one should score more than 75% in 12th class.

  • Coming to your next question the date of these changes has not been decided. The coaching institutes will have crores of loss and great pressure because of these changes as they make their materials and curriculum according to previous years pattern. Also the lecturers are used to certain type and style of teaching and these changes will affect their standards. Stats tell that the impact will be more on the lecturers rather than the students.
