There should not be any confusion about the fact that it is always better to find a job and start earning compared to joining any other course. Also the author has shown interest in Food Safety and Dairy, but has inquired about courses in Food Safety and Security. Normally it is expected that during the course of study of B.Tech. the students come to know about the employment opportunities as well as courses of higher level from the faculty and the senior students etc. Generally the colleges have placement cells also for offering guidance to the students in jobs related matters.
Regarding securing admission in M.Tech. program, the author may study the website of National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), Sonepat, Haryana and such other institutes for full details.

Further studies are also advantageous in terms of better career opportunities.
I have following options for you-
1. If you have some sort of financial problems in family, then get a good job and earn some money as well as experience. Then you can take a break and complete your studies further. After this you will be having much better opportunities.

2. If financial problem is not the case, please go ahead with studies. You can pursue M.tech with similar stream like Food Technology or something related.
The institute from which you are pursuing your graduation may also be offering M.tech. So, kindly inquire for the same.

The graduate who completed his/her studies always is in dilemma to choose the option (Job or Higher education). Many of us like this not only you.

If you have, good academic background and financial support is not there then go for job otherwise you can choose another option that is higher education. However, if you complete your higher education then the number of chances to get job is more. Even you can do part time job if you have interested and time is available to you.

Other information you can get from the above responses.
