It will be totally up to the management of bank to take decision in such matters. However the author is advised to pay full attention to his duties and responsibilities and carve a niche in his existing bank so as to earn a say in his career related matters.
Regarding switching over to other banks, research should be carried out about the recruitment procedures of other banks. Preparations of competitive examinations etc. should also be done in case so required. Many foreign banks are also functioning in India. Efforts should be made to collect information about career opportunities in foreign banks by studying their websites in detail and collect necessary information on his own. It may be noted that meticulous efforts are required to be made and there is no short cut to success.
