IISc is one of the best university in Asia. It provides courses of M.tech, MS, PhD level. The primary subjects taught there are-
3. Mathematics and physical science
But there is a great liberty of selecting the subjects of your choice. For getting admission in IISc, one needs to crack GATE exam with an outstanding percentile. Only 0.01% top percentile students get admission here. It again increases with the choice of stream. 25 seats from all over India is booked for the candidates doing excellent in CAT.
IISc also provides bachelor degree in many science courses. One needs to crack the JAM exam to get admission for bachelor degree in IISc.

In addition to the information given above I would like to add the following.
The courses provided are BS, MS, M.Tech, PhD, Integrated BS-MS and Integrated MS-PhD. You can also join as a project fellow (JRF/SRF), a research associate, a post-doctoral fellow (after PhD). Other than this there are also various internship programs at both UG and PG levels that one can apply for.
Other than GATE and JAM, IISc also conducts their own entrance exam for UG, PG and PhD courses.
Once you clear the cut off in the written exams, you have to face either 1 or 2 rounds of interviews (depending on course and department) before you are offered a seat.
For paid internships, you have to apply according to the format given in their website which usually includes writing about your research ideas/research proposal and area of interest.
