The author has not stated his existing qualification and stream in which graduation was completed. Escaping responsibility in the grab of doing a higher course is not a solution. One has to do hard work only during formative years. Was designing studied at graduation level. It is a myth to believe that after doing M.Tech. an easy going job will be available. One may get job in the design field even without doing M.Tech. provided the individual is competent to deliver results. The private organizations are not much interested in the degrees. Instead they depend more on the competency of the individual. The author may consider cracking GATE examination if eligible for appearing in the same for becoming eligible to do M.Tech. from reputed institutions and also to get a chance of getting employment in reputed PSU companies.

If you are really interested in designing field then why did you go with execution field job? Can't you wait till the job come which you like? Is money matters? While doing work physical strain always is there. In the process of knowing the facts you want take u-turn? If you really doesn't want to work in that field, leave that job but not in the case of having physical strain, study and all.

If you come, now, decide. What you want to do exactly? What is your short-term and long-term goal? If money matters then you can earn money along with studies. Yes, this is possible. Some colleges will appointment you as a tech-quip and you can do M.Tec h in the same college. Search that type of college and join in that. But realize the fact that always stress will be there in the job (either mentally or physically). If you join in the college like tech-quip then you should have the capability to do both (study and work). Be preparing for that. I strongly suggest you to practice yoga or meditation daily for some time as it reduces the strain and ill-health. Now, the decision is in your hands.
Hope you will get success!

Most of the universities have the MTech program where you are supposed to attend the college or the lecturers classes in part time way. So the MTech degree itself has option to let you choose how you wish to finish the degree. Some choose regular classes and some using part time basis.

You're supposed to choose the subjects in second year so there is basically no full time college or campus work. In such case all you have to do is finish the project with the guidance of professor in college.

If you're doing the job then in such case just make sure you are enrolled in university that allows such flexible mode to finish the post graduation. You just have to check with the university for the same.
