Sleep talking is a sleep disorder known as somniloquy. It may involve gibberish or mumbling or complete and complicated monologues.
Though it is not physically harmful , but often causes embarrassment to the individual and disturbance to the bed partner or other persons sleeping in the same room. Its reasons are not fully understood and it may be making no sense at all or sometimes related to past events, experiences and relationships of the past which has no relevance in the present. Sleep talk is generally rare and a short lived occurrence.
Generally no treatment is necessary. However if it persists a doctor may be consulted for diagnosis of any possible sleep disorder or anxiety or stress.

Sleep talking occurs due to various reasons. When in sleep talk the control goes to subconscious mind. This results in memory mixing and the stuff being connected person to be spoken without any politically correct way.
This could be because of anxiety, stress, habit of being overly expressive, trauma etc. So all such small things connected results in having such sleep talk issue.
If these symptoms not taken care of could result in sleep talking disorder. And then it is harder to get it cured. However reduction in anxiety and stress can help people get rid of such stress.

It is happened due to subconscious mind and proved many times in spiritually. In subconscious mind the person thinks that he is really aware of what he expects. It is the very difficult one to cure. That's why old persons are used to say: try to go to bed early and wake up in the early morning. So that he can really focus on our work and have healthy food.
The person should reduce the stress, anxiety to cure this. Actually, the person may not know about what he is talking and completely unaware of this when he wakes up. All things will get vanished and many times it will appear to his mind only he thinks about what has happened yesterday or once any one say to him.
There is a Telugu film called S/O Krishnamurthy. In that film also we can observe. Have you ever seen Amaravati movie in Telugu. In that one type of role is like if he want to do anything by others then one type of technique he used. May be this also include in it. You can see in the "7th Sense "also.
Either we go to subconscious mind through anxiety/stress or we made by other person to us to go into subconscious mind.
