Creating genuine interest among kids for agriculture is only possible if the tours and the drives are taken. You have to start a small startup that shows kids and adults how the agriculture process is being done. For example you can show them how the sugar cane is being cut and how the sugar cane cubes are made.
Apart from process you can video record this in video and distribute in school or colleges. it takes time for the kids or even adults to get some interest into the new concept. But you can do this with info graphics and good introductions.
As for job opportunities, you may need to have BSC in agriculture. And from based on the degree you can go ahead with research. You may want to approach the companies who are into agriculture and then get job in their respective positions. Almost every university has the courses in agriculture or the agriculture related courses.
