The students come to the India for higher studies are the countries which are attached to the edge of India. Mostly from Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka etc. However, Pakistani students are less preferred to come to India.

  • Living cost in India is very cheap
  • All facilities are available in local
  • Accommodation is good
  • Indian's Friendly nature
  • Highly qualified faculties
  • Research opportunities etc. make them to come to India

Mainly they prefer admissions to get into the following:
  • IIM's
  • IIT's
  • BITS-Pilani
  • Space institution
  • Birla groups etc.

However, if they want to earn cash by doing part-time jobs then here plenty of jobs available. Generally, they prefer to live in Metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore etc.

Actually i have experienced many students from outside of India in Pune University. Also, one day i asked them that why are you people choosing India for education. Actually that guy is from Afghanistan and he said that India for them is good for study purpose as University of Pune is one of the best Universities in India and also cost of living is cheap for them. The environment of studies and extra circular is suited for them. Yes ofcourse as India is a always been a welcoming country in the world.

So many students from Afghanistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh Prefer to Study in Indian Universities like Delhi University, Mumbai University, Pune University, BITS Pilani, IITs, NITs,IIMs and many more top universities.

As my experience i mainly seen many students for the courses in the field of Management, Law, Accounting and also less number of students in Engineering.
