US states have different cost of living and also different cost of education. For example San Francisco and New York are among the highest among the standard of living and expenses. Also the cost of education is higher in those places. The cost of education increases depending on where you wish to get the degree. I suggest you to consult with the immigration and education consultancy to know the cost.

Rough estimation for the post graduate degree is around 48 Lakh INR to 65 Lakh INR depending on the state and the degree that you're pursuing. If you get the scholarship or the grant then this cost may get reduced as your college tuition fee may be reduced or the fee is waived. Engineering and medical degrees are costly and they cost above 45 Lakh depending on state funded or private universities. Most of the non technical degrees are low cost but expensive if MBA is pursued.
