To create a joke is itself an intellectual creation and for your passion, you deserve congratulation from my side. While posting the same in any sight does not attract any offence but seeing the same joke in any sight prior to your creation would may create a room of suspicion. However, appearance of one or two jokes which you have submitted for publication is coincidental and for which you should not mind so seriously.
I would advise you to go ahead with your blog and make readers happy with your contributions so that readers develop intense interest in your contributions and at the same time, you establish your unique field in this area.

Jokes are normally not considered to be copyrighted. You may use them on multiple sites except for some specific ones. There are some scenes from movies or dramas or from some works of fiction. Using them can be treated as an infringement of copyright.
As for the jokes that are spread through word of mouth are not considered to have any copyright issues and using them could be fine.

Jokes like most of the arts pass through social sharing and intellectual ideation process. So they can be copyrighted.
For example, if you have seen the animated movie of "Minions" which are copyrighted to disney. So jokes if attached to certain art be it animation, video or audio can be copyrighted. Most of the US based artists and comedians do apply for copyright or the trademark for some of their comic characters or jokes. Also some joke lines can be copyrighted and they can't be used for branding.
In US there is a process for patenting ideas of joke or anything. However in India, you don't have such patent process or copyrights for joke or comic art. Comics in india do have intellectual protection but it has different criteria.

This is definitely a very good question. Its answer is :
1) Jokes (text or video or audio) from websites which mention that their content should not be reproduced or used in any way may put you in trouble if you reproduce or use them in your website or blog.
2) Jokes (video) from movies should not be used as at the end of any movie, it is mentioned that any part of the movie must not be used without permission.
Except the above two cases, any joke can be used any where as they are passed from person to another by mouth.
Hope this answer helps.
