Having played up to District level tournaments, the author is already a cricketer and can continue his hobby. However it may be difficult after completing the age of 24 years to start afresh for completing the whole process of getting selected in national or international cricket teams. The process begins at the district level clubs. The author may contact the local cricket clubs and become active/involved with them. Generally only outstanding cricketers who start learning/practicing since much younger age, become able to compete in the field.

If you have seen the leg spinner bowler Praveen Tambe then you can understand that he got the chance at the age of 43. So you are very young at the 24. You have to however work harder in order to reach ahead. You have to manage money, job and the sports. It is going to be tough and harder but you can surely do that. Only thing that needs to be seen here is your dedication, your performance and a bit luck with people who need to push you ahead. You can definitely take a chance and with competitions such as IPL and others, you do have future even if not selected for national team. You have to show the performance for others to recommend you and vouch for you. So hard work and performance is the only answer to this.

A strong determinations and Will power always pay. So, if you have both of this ingredients, you can prepare a success story by putting handwork and focused efforts.
I would like to know the financial condition of your family. If that is not good, you have to even work harder for managing economy at home and your cricket training.
If you have played district level tournaments, the cricket board of your place may be knowing you and you may request them to sponsor your training with a promise to work hard. If your performances were remarkable, they may agree to support you.
