What are the various career options after completing ITI course after completing 10th standard? What average salary can be expected in such cases? Is it possible to get a job on completing ITI course after passing 10th class or additional courses are required to be completed?

ITI scheme was introduced by the Government to fill up the vacancies of the different technical trades for the fruitful utilisation of the skills achieved by the aspirants. There are different trades such as Mechanical draughtsman, Welder, Fitter, Rigger and Turner and each trades. Draughtsman is responsible for construction of drawing of buildings, different components employed in Industries, and the drawing served by them is the basic foot - print of execution of ground - work. Welders are required to repair the worn out structure and to offer reinforcement to the entire assembly. Electricians play a vital role in the industry by detecting and repairing the electrical fault in a line carrying voltage high or otherwise. Other trades such as Fitter and Turners are indispensable in jobs related to Mechanical.
In fact, an IIT holders are the vital tools in any Industry.
Their salaries range between Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 per month depending upon the organisations with the further scope of promotions.

Goodday Mate,
After completing one year in the Industrial Training Institute its also possible to get a job like Welder, Fitter,Turner,Rigger. These are the basic jobs where the salary is low when you start, latter the pay goes up when your experience in the field goes up. After a few years you can either start your own industry getting order for Gates, small jobs, or from a company with a bulk order.

Most of the students after finishing in ITI usually choose the Diploma courses which is for three years in Mechanical, Electrical, computer based on their interest. This usually boost their salary packages, even its possible to get a better designation with an ITI experience in the industry.

After diploma some students opt to choose the B.E (lateral entry), a four year Engineering professional course, where the diploma holders are eligible to enter the direct second year. This is for better career and also best salary in the industry. Even some students study with educational loans for a better future. Students holding degrees such as ITI,Diploma,B.E are also working at BHEL with good salary packages. Even many have been in abroad with good starting salary packages. Its not hard to think after ITI still you can work as part time studying a full time diploma. Nowadays there are many options for the students to study full time and work part time.
