Animation industry around the world is in boom. You have plenty of jobs in this arena for - explainer videos, animated logos, animation short movies, short ads and also professional game videos etc. So there is no shortage of the jobs for the animation graduate. All you have to do is make sure you're good at art and also know how to use the tools for the jobs.

Institute such as MAAC, Arena Multimedia, NIIT are known for the good animation courses. Placement in such institutes is good too. You may get most of the companies from bangalore and mumbai for the job. Minimum salary depends on the portfolio. If you are complete fresher then perhaps anything from 10K to 40K is minimum. And then it increases based on the amount of projects being handled. It all depends on type of projects handled, years of experience and the client and company you worked for.
