Residential Schools-Pros:
Well conducted residential schools help the students know and adapt to community living. They get a habit of proper scheduling and prioritising things. They get opportunity to socialise healthily. Students get more time to interact with teachers and clear their doubts. Teachers also get time for better monitoring students and devote time for special classes and orientation for those who need it. Students get more time for physical activity and collective recreations. Studious and interested students can make use of school library better.

Residential schools-Cons

If the schools do not have good system, control and discipline, there is chance the students going astray and falling to external and internal temptations. If there are no strict control for uniformity in dress, food, money and utility materials students may develop complexes. That can cause many issues even leading to physical and verbal intimidations and withdrawing and becoming aloof. Students may feel insecure and uncared when falling ill. They may get bored about the stereotype food and routine and may crave for change, which may force them to resort to wrongdoings also.

Day schools: Pros

Students are under the care of parents and family after school hours. It gives a feeling of safety and security. There cannot be a better substitute for one's home. The proximity of home and caring family gives them confidence and relieves them of many a burden. They can demand and get variety of food and outings with family. After school hours they have variety and choice in food, dress and recreation. Even when they fall sick, they feel secured and safe under the proximity and affection of family, and that helps faster recovery of health.

Day Schools-Cons

As there are parents and family members to take care of much needs, students may not become responsible and may not even take care of their own matters. From waking up onwards they depend on parents or other family members. Even if parents love them, the controls and regulations insisted by them make the students feel bored and lacking freedom and they develop a don't care attitude also. This can create many a tiffs at home. Students may be slow in developing social attitude and accommodative spirit.

Residential and day school both have their own benifets in the all round development of a child.

Firstly Residential school
Living far away from family builds a sense of responsiblity in the children.
These children are more disciplened and are able to tackle anykind of situation or difficulty pressure of projects alone as compared to the child living with parents at home who are dependent on thwir parents to resolve any difficulty in their life.
Away from distractions theae children get better opportunities for concentrating in studies.
But in a way living away from parents affect different children in different ways
some children in these school become serious less friendly and reserved towards their parents and can not express their feelings with parents.
Some become furious and rude blaming everyone some becomes totally quite whenever they visit their home.
They lack love, care and pampering of family and hence sometimes are unknowingly unaware about existence of these things.

On the other hand in Day schools
Living at home while going school develops moral values manners also with school education espicially for those children who live in large families.
they are more closeand attached to their parents and really understands the valu of love and care they got.
Children are totally depend upon their parents sometimes parents even does their homework for them such kind of pampering makes them iresponsible.
Even for very small things like laundry and other tasks these children are depended upon their mothers ,and after growing up when they leave home for higher studies situation for them become very difficult to tackle.
