The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) is a non-profit educational organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. It is an international organization, not associated with any particular country and considered free of any national, political or educational agendas.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program or IBDP program, in short, is a rigorous and comprehensive two-year course designed as a pre-university program for students between the age group of 16 to 19 years. The IB curriculum is considered more challenging than other educational boards in India like the CBSE and ICSE etc.

The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) recognizes the IB Diploma as equivalent to the class 12 examination of CBSE, ICSE, NIOS or state boards.

Universities of more than 110 countries across the world have recognized the IB Diploma and it is accepted for entrance by even the most competitive universities in the world.
