For entering in regular banking services one has to clear the various competitive examinations conducted from time to time. Banks generally don't recruit candidates directly on the basis of examinations passed by the candidates and other courses completed by them. The author may study the website of the Institute of Banking Personnel selection (IBPS) - http://www.ibps.in/ for more details about the subject matter. Generally banks recruit at two levels- at the clerks level and at PO level.
As far as expected salary after completing MBA is concerned, that primarily depends on the type and reputation of the institution from where the MBA is completed. Merely possessing any particular degree doesn't assures jobs and determines the salary structure.
Banking services are remunerative career options, but the same can be got only through passing competitive examinations which can be said to be tougher in nature.

Banking sector is a vast one with various level of banks right from co-operative banks to the apex Reserve Bank of India.
There are various categories. However usually we hear about the clerical cadre and Officer cadre appointments n mass scale in established private banks and in public sector banks.
Some private sector banks recruit from campus recruitments. Otherwise the major recruitments in banks are through special competitive test and interviews conducted by the banks (or IBPs).
Some banks recruit at higher level of Officer grades especially as specialist officers. These will be published in major newspapers and media and also in the concerned bank website.
In ISC job section also they are posted by members.
Though DBM is not an essential qualification, among equals that my help to have some advantage. The basic essential qualification needed for the general posts as of now is Graduation. (Some banks may prescribe threshold level of grade or percentage depending on posts to be applied)
