    ALL INDIA COUNCIL FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION(AICTE) in their notification F-37-3/legal/2004 dated: 21st January, 2004, has given a supernumerary quota for admission for Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian Origin/ Children of IndianWorkers in the Gulf
    Countries in, AICTE approved institutions..

    Under the above regulation 15% of all seats under institutions/ University departments,approved by AICTE for giving technical education like Engineering and Technology,Architecture, MBA, MCA, Hotel Management& catering etc.etc( as given there) 'shall be allowed onsupernumerary basis' from amongst FNs/PIOs/CIWGs 'over and above the approved intake'.
    1/3 rd of the above 15% should be specially earmarked and reserved for Childreno f IndianW orkersi n the Cuif Countries.(CIWG). However any vacant seats may be reverted back to the two third of 15 per cent.
    Eligibility and fees: Eligibility of CIWG is same as NRIs. Fees for CIWGS will be on par with residents. A non-refundable registration fee of USD 300 is to be remitted.
