There is a lot of scope for the animation. The modern product demonstrations these days are being done using 2D and 3D Animation. And this opens up a lot of opportunities for the animators. You may also find that some of the explainer video market is getting more attention.

Video creators from Youtube and other learning management system are hiring the animators. So there is always a need for the designer. You'd find such artists are being recruited by the companies. The initial salary may not be high until you develop the portfolio. But once you cross few years of projects you'd get better salary.

You can get some specific skill based course names from NIIT and Maya studios. I'd suggest get the recommendation from locals for the institutes in delhi. Make sure the institutes are good enough before you enroll because lot of them lack good faculty.

Some of the institutes offering such courses at Delhi are -

Animation is a good option. The prerequisite that I consider for this is that you should be imaginative and have a good skill in art because in the end animation is collection of frames.
National institute of Design is a very good institute which provide Animation courses. Apart from animation there are also other courses in Furniture design, Infrastructure design etc. for which you might be also interested. Request you to please check their website for more information.
