Bachelor of Physiotherapy is a Para-medical course.,
The normal eligibility is plus two with Physics, Chemistry and biology.
Some colleges insist on 50% aggregate.
The admissions is generally direct application to the institution.
The course is available under many Medical colleges and under Health university in certain states.
Strictly speaking Physiotherapy Bachelor degree courses are no to use title 'Dr'. However by convention many use 'Dr' but they also add or suffix the abbreviation PT or fully Physio Therapy to make it clear that they are not MBBS/MD etc.

Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT)- as its name says is a graduation course and cannot be considered as MBBS. The graduate with Physiotherapy specialization are eligible to give paid services and consultation but cannot be addressed as Doctors.
In general, people may address them as doctor because these graduates are also treating their problems the way doctors do.

For admission, candidate must have studied Biology, chemistry and physics as elective subjects. The minimum eligible marks may vary from institute to institute and it must be 50% or more.

Admission can be normal including submission of application form and fee. For some institutes, it may also include some sort of screening process like entrance test, interview, etc.

Bachelor in Physiotherapy is a three year degree course dealing with the subject of Physiotherapy and after completion of this course, the degree is awarded as BPT. However in order to render their service, they are attached in a Multispeciality - hospital or they can carry out their jobs independently. Some of the successful aspirants do write Dr before their name but there should not be any confusion to identify them since at the end of their name, BPT is included as well.
With respect to admission, they must have passed 10+2 along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology securing more than 50 percent marks and depending upon the Institution, they need to qualify the written test conducted by the said Institution.
One has to contact the Institution for the familiarity of rules and admission - procedure including the fee - structure. Some institutes may conduct personal interviews even after the clearance of written test for the final - selection.
