Well, you can get the changes done to your Aadhar card following some quite easier steps.

There are two ways you can do it. You can change the following data in your card -

1. Name
2. Gender
3. Date of Birth
4. Address
5. Mobile Number

Updating Aadhar card Online

Visit the site https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/web/guest/ssup-home. The page contains instructions on the steps involved in the data update. Click on the link at the bottom of the page to update your Aadhar data online. You may also reach the link through https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/web/guest/update
You will need to have your mobile number registered with UIDAI for the online procedure to work. Once you enter your Aadhar number, an OTP will be sent to your phone. After entering the OTP in the required space, you will be taken to data update request page. You can indicate the data to be changed therein.
The next step involves uploading the supporting documents.

Offline ( via Post)
If your mobile number is not registered, you will have to opt for the offline method. Click the link http://uidai.gov.in/images/UpdateRequestFormV2.pdf for the application form.

Once you have registered yourself initially with your mobile number it is ok in all respects to correct your data if needed online. The procedure mentioned in the website itself clean and without any mess as I have corrected my change of address well and got the new aadhaar card. The condition is the document we are uploading is to be signed before scanning the same and in the website itself the list of documents has been given. refer the website:

There are two ways you can update the aadhar card - online and via post. In case of the via post option, you have to send the documentation and the details to update your aadhar card.

Some of the details that you can update online are - name, age, date of birth, address and mobile number.

In case of updating the aadhar card online here's the URL which you can access and use : https://uidai.gov.in/update-your-aadhaar-data.html and you'd need to login to this page for further processing : https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/web/guest/ssup-home

If you choose to update the details through post. You'd be needed to download the PDF document, print it out and make the correction details in it. And after that you get more options for the correction such as - Pincode/Village/Town/City/Post Office/District/State. You get more options to correct through the form which you can send through the post.
