    To apply for CPL/ IR license training :- The minimum requirements by the Department Civil of Aviation, Malaysia (DCA) are:

    >> SPM with 5 credits inclusive of English, Mathematics and any Science subject (for Malaysian students) or
    >> GCE 'O' level or equivalent with passes in similar subject (for foreign students).
    >> Age not less than 17 years old when starting the course and must be 18 years old before been issued the CPL/IR license.

    Duration if CPL/IR course : Duration if CPL/IR course is of 18-20 months.For the CPL/IR licence, a cadet pilot will require a minimum of 200 hours of flying of which 165 hours are on single engine aircraft and 35 hours on twin engine aircraft.

    Maximum age limit for CPL/IR course:- There is no age limit for taking the course. However, the license is valid up to the age of 65 years old.
