Do not worry about the education gap. One year gas doesn't matter much. If you are determined to pursue MCA then do it, do not hesitate. Be positive and focus on getting good percentage in your post graduation. There are ample job opportunities available in varied fields such as corporate sectors, educational fields, business sectors, computer centers, private firms etc. The post graduates can find jobs as system analysts, software consultant, hardware engineer, lecturer, technical writer, software developer, software programmer, consultant, troubleshooter, hardware technician, web developer, software application architect etc.

There is most likely question will be asked to you about your gap during HR interview. It should be rightly justified.
Make sure to choose MCA college which has good placement opportunities. There are lot of MCA and Computer , IT engineering students passing out every year. Competition is very tough. So you have to be always on top in studies.
Again it really does not matter if you have gap. All matters is how confident you are in interview and your scores during academics. If your MCA chosen college does not offer in campus placements then use those MCA years to find job. Other way is to join some reputed institute which offer placements along with crash course. Also you can contact consultancy / recruiting firms which on some bonus finds you job opportunities. All the best.

Resuming education after some gap is not a big issue. In fact that is good also. However in these days of recruiting freshers I campus and off-campus recruitments, you may get a slightly lesser priority unless you have excellent grades and knowledge and skill for the work. You should be able to give convincing reasons for the gap occurred.
In fact it be more easy for you to get better grades as you have earned one more year in life. That gives some advantage in our comprehension capacity and assimilating experience better. One year more might have given you more maturity, balance and composure, which are good for an employee.

Please bear in mind that you have to work hard and acquire good knowledge and grade and update skills as the sector has very good competition and attrition. While choosing a college for MCA, better choose one with good reputation and having good placement record. That will make things easier.

One year gap is not a issue. But when you go and attend for an interview you will be posed a question why you have wasted one year. You should be able to give a genuine reason for this.

You can take admission in MCA. There are many good colleges for this courses. Recruitment chances are good for MCAs. Main issue is to get a seat in a reputed college which will attract recruiters for recruitment of their students.

M.C.A. Hope you should have used the computer and computer for programming, graphics design, your interest of working in these two years. Convert that into a talent during the study of the M.C.A from 2017. M.C.A is the best choice of the education after the completion of B.C.A and do well study for the M.C.A and interview questions and best prepare for the projects to get a good job in the software industry with good package. Gap only causes an issue in companies and off campus interviews where they pay attention to the year of clearance. When any company is recruiting on the basis of merit, then surely that can be one issue with the educational gap. I think those type of jobs can be out of reach in your case. I have seen some people still getting it with reference and other ways. But that's among rare cases so one should watch out for that part.

You can pursue higher education. MCA and MBA can be a good option. You just have to do hard work and make sure that you land the job in small scale company and from there build your resume there onwards. This may take some time but you have to focus on this through educational context. I have seen that work for many women who resume education after marriage.

Real, in-depth knowledge on the subject of study is mainly necessary to get a good job. Doing MCA from a reputed institute would be an added advantage. If you learn the subjects of MCA properly, then there would be absolutely no problem in getting a good job. However, you must be prepared to reply satisfactorily about the gap, i.e., what have you done during the intervening period (BCA and MCA). If you were working during this period, it would be taken in a positive light.
    Caution: Explosive. Handle with care.
