    1. Post- Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a Post-Graduate Diploma and is not a full-fledged Master Degree in Management.
    2. This Diploma can be awarded by all and sundry institutes. Master Degree, i.e., MBA is awarded only by a University recognised by UGC (in India).
    3. PGDM is a PG Diploma course in general management. Students don't require to study any specialisation in the Diploma course. On the other hand, MBA students must compulsorily have to opt for specialisations like HR, Finance, Materials Management, Supply Change Management, Sales Management, Inventory Management, Hospital Administration, etc.
    4. PGDM students may or may not need to undertake projects. There is no specific rule in this regard. The condition varies from institute to institute. MBA students have to compulsorily submit project reports.
    5. Needless to say, the job prospects of MBA students are better than the students of PGDM students. Hoever, students of IIMs are notable exceptions.

    Caution: Explosive. Handle with care.

PG Diploma in management (PGDM) will be offered by many institutes. You can do it after completing your graduation. There is no specialisation in this. It is on general management. The value of the certificate depends on which institute you are opting for.
MBA is a full fledged master's degree in Business Management. It is offered by many universities and management institutes. IIMs are very standard for this degree. There are many business schools which will offer MBA and have very high job potential for MBA from IIMs or from Business schools. IFIM from Bangalore is offering PGDM and the institute is in existence from almost 20 Years , I think. It a good institute.
Of the two MBA is a better option and job potential will be good for MBAs. But you should do it in standard university or business school. Many institutes offer MBA. They are only for namesake and may not be of good value.

The Institute of Finance and International Management (or IFIM) is a business school where it is handling MBA courses. Its located in electronic city near silicon valley of India. It is well equipped with laboratories and library. For more details you can visit their website.
As your query is concerned you have not mentioned you r education qualification. For MBA any degree is qualified. You have to write an entrance exam for this. First decide whether you want to do MBA or PGDM. MBA is 2 years pg graduation where 1st year common subjects and second year you will have elective subjects. But if your going for PGDM then MBA is not required. Where as your employment depends on you, that how you take your interview and prove yourself that your stable for that job. So decide and mention in your next query that whether you want details about PGDM or MBA.
