How is internal bleeding treated?
Puzzled about how a bleeding which occurs in the body internally gets detected and treated? Know how doctors deal with internal bleeding problems from this Ask Expert page.
This question has bugged me for long now and I never got satisfying answers for it.
If there was an external bleeding there are a multiple ways to stop it, but what if it is inside? Do doctors just leave it upon the patient's body to recover by just giving them saline and supplements?
Or is there a proper procedure? After all, it would be immensely hard to know which particular part of the body is responsible for internal bleeding. So, how do doctors find the cause and origin of the bleeding. And how do they treat it?
