For Jobs in BPO generally, any graduation is OK. But if you want in a reputed company, you should have graduation in science or Engineering. As already you have 2.5 years experience, with that experience you can try in any good company. Qualification wise if you can try for B.C.A through the correspondence course, it will give you an additional advantage. It will be useful for both jobs. You can try for some certification courses like C+, C++, Java etc., which will help you in getting a good job.

You have BA with 2.5 years of experience which is good enough to grow in BPO industry, if you are eager to learn more courses relevant to IT/KPO, if you are willing then you can take BCS/BCA/BSc IT and then go for MBA. These courses will open up the gates for IT and if not the above courses you can also take up BCom or MCom and then KPO which is also an added advantage.

There are many in-demand IT certification courses that you can go for like, ORACLE, Network Administrator, Hadoop, Manual and Automation Testing, specialize in any of the programming languages.

Moreover, you can even have a word with your HR. Some companies have KPO and IT along with the BPO service, if your performance is good, they can internally transfer you to IT section. Maybe before that, you can get a certification done on Testing, they can consider you with that certification and move you to IT sector.

Most of the BPO and Tech support careers requires the person to have knowledge in desktop support and networking. Depending on the outsourced company, you'd be required to have some specific tech skills certification.

For example some BPO and tech support companies require you to have Microsoft desktop support certifications. And some may even require you to have CISCO, Red Hat, Microsoft Server and Linux certification. Depending on their business model, the certification demand would be different. Make sure you give few interviews to test your voice. And that can be one way you can find out how you fare for the career in the BPO and Tech support.

For BPO and KPO these days some of the testing courses like manual testing and few other desktop testing related courses are also in demand. You may have to check with nearby companies where you're applying and find out what applies to them.
