Alternate documents for new white ration card & application for free health services

Want to avail of free govt. health services under the Rajeev Gandhi Yojana? Need to get a new white ration card? Get expert guidance on the relevant procedures to do so.

I am using a gas cylinder of my in-laws and it is not in my name. Also, I do not have a landline phone to show as document proof of a phone Bill. So what is the procedure to apply for a new white ration card with any other alternate documents?

Further, is this card sufficient to avail of free health facilities? If not, then what is the procedure for getting such free health facilities under the Rajiv Gandhi Health scheme?

The white card is issued to those families having an annual income of Rs. 1 Lakh or above, any member of the family possessing a four-wheeler or the family aggregately holding more than 4 hectares irrigation land.
What is your income level? If it is more than a lakh the Rajivgandhi yojana is not applicable. It doesn't cover white ration card holders
Families with annual income less than Rs 1 lakh which holds one of the four cards issued by Maharashtra government: Antyodaya card, Annapurna card, yellow ration card or orange ration card are eligible to apply for the benefit under the scheme.

Valid applicants are provided 'Rajiv Gandhi Jeevandayee Arogya Yojana Health Card' bearing name of the family members, their photos, and age. The healthcare is to be produced in the hospitals to get the benefit of the scheme.

If any medical procedure is needed before the health card is issued, valid ration card and aadhar card can be produced before the hospitals to avail medical services under the scheme.

If aadhar card is not issued, anyone document from voter's ID, driving license, school id, PAN card etc can be used as proof of address.

Rajiv Gandhi Jeevandayee Arogya Yojana is a blessing to the poor who otherwise can't afford costly medical treatment and suffer from illness or medical condition due to lack of financial resources.

    1. White ration card is issued to such families where annual income of all the family members is Rs. 1 lakh or more.

    2. AADHAR Card, e-AADHAR, PAN Card, Driving license, ration card, etc. are treated as valid documents for enrolment in Rajiv Gandhi Jeevandayee Arogya Yojana.
