Confusion about what to do after 12th.

Have a query about what to study after XII? Searching for advice online? Find advice from experts on this page for resolving all your confusion.

I have done my 12th with commerce+maths and got 84%. Now I am going to do BSc Cyber Security. So can I do MS in artificial intelligence after this ? If not, so in which field can I do MS?
Actually I have two startup plans in artificial intelligence and second is in robotics. But I can't do anything in robotics. What should I do for my under graduate?

The eligibility criteria for a candidate to do M.S in Artificial Intelligence is a minimum aggregate score of 55% at the level of graduation in B.Sc. or B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent degree with Mathematics as one of the main subjects. So you have to do B.Sc with mathematics as one of the main subjects. So I suggest you go for B.Sc with mathematics and any other two optional subjects. Once you are through in that course, you can go MS in Artificial Intelligence.

Being done your class XII with one of the subjects as Math will definitely help you to shape up your career in computer related line and cyber security is a very important area which is attracting the attention of all the big financial, banking and internet organisations and there are going to be good prospect in this line.

After completing your graduation you can consider to apply for jobs in this area for which you have to keep a watch on good job portals and other media. If you get a job related to your qualification in cyber security then later you can enhance your knowledge in this field or related fields for enabling you to switch jobs or progress in your own organisation.

However as you have indicated, with a good scoring in your graduation you can get admission in artificial intelligence course in your PG and that will be always an option with you.

After doing your graduation, you have options for some specialization courses like certified cyber and investigator course, networking and cyber security, cyber security and forensics, cyber investigation and laws etc. These courses can be attended even as a part time course and can be comfortably carried out side by side of your job.

So try to join a job after graduation itself and then enhance your qualifications in the specialized fields for career growth. These subjects are such that a hands on experience will help you in gaining the experience quickly and then only more remunerative job opportunities will be coming in your way.

If you have more inclination towards academic credentials and want a liking for lecturer jobs in the IT institutes then continuing your PG and subsequent doctoral program can also be a long term job aspiration.

If you do not have much financial worries then starting a start up along with other associates is also a good option where you can start your own consultancy and advisory services to the various organisations going for cyber security in a big way. You can even think of a franchise with the existing players in the market. Today job position in the market is very tough and innovation and enterprising is the only way to progress.

So based on your core interest and aptitude you have to filter out the career line path.

    Knowledge is power.

Your marks in the class twelve examination is impressive and I hope you will put in the same vigorous effort in your subsequent studies.
Though you have the inclination for cyber - securities, cyber - investigation and law etc, these courses can be taken up with passing the certificate examination and for that, you may contact some prominent institutes offering you better guidance in this field.
What I want to stress upon is to have a minimum graduation degree in your commerce stream with high scorings and such scoring will enable you to qualify in the competitive test for Artificial - intelligence and can go ahead with the course provided the institution is the prominent one.
The other areas where you can get lucrative jobs in Banking - sectors with your hard working for the test of Probationary - officers, LIC executive trainees or Management trainees in some reputed organisations like SAIL, DVC, ONGC etc.
If intended for the perusal of Post - graduation in commerce, you may take up the same keeping in eye for obtaining a Doctorate - degree in your commerce line. In the mean while, after your M.Com examination, you can appear for NET but the condition is that you need to secure a minimum of 55 percent marks so as to eligible for NET test and later Ph.D can be attained.
You can even go in for MCA from a reputed institute so as to have your sound - opening in the IT industries.
There are varied choices after graduation, choose wisely according to your own inclination.

If you have completed Commerce plus Maths which are primary and compulsory subjects to pursue studies in the field of Software and Artificial intelligence. You can directly go for MCA since you already completed commerce with 84% which is average and enough to pursue MCA three years course.

Most University offer six years courses for non commerce students or students who completed BSc 12. You also need to learn Programming languages which is mandatory to go further ahead for Artificial intelligence. There are course by course section which you will need to cover from Data Science with Phyton to Machine learning course. These course called deep learning with tensor flow if completed can give you an individual certificates. Also one don't have to take years out of your life studying at university to become familiar with this seemingly hugely complex technology.

You can also study both courses in one go with the help of Google AI and Google Machine Learning.
