I don't think your son and daughter are going to face any problem while appearing for 10th board. Seeking admission, in the beginning, is the most difficult part of the entire process. Seeking admission in L.K.G. or 1st standard is a troublesome task. They are already in and there is no need to worry about anything.

Yes, RTE has fixed the minimum age for seeking admission in 1st standard as 5 years and 8 months for the academic year 2018-2019. Since your son is already in 1st standard, you don't have to worry about the new rules. Rules keep changing and the new rules are for those students who are enrolling this year in the schools. A new set of rules are not for those who have already reached higher levels.

Every year we see parents and management going through the same trouble. This year, however, an exact age is set which will help to enroll the students in the 2018-2019 academic years. Last year the minimum age for admission in 1st standard was 5 years and 4 months. The education department is trying to set the age limit to 6 years and thus the board is gradually increasing age limit every year.

Thus, do remember that whatever new set of rules are been introduced this year or will be introduced in the coming years will not apply to those students who have reached higher levels. The newly introduced rules only apply to new admissions.

By having a close look of your daughter's age ie 21/01/ 20008, her present age is 10 year 8 months. She might have secured her admission in class one in the year 2013, which does not indicate any violation in respect of her admission - procedure. Again for your son, born on 30/ 03/ 2013 and currently in the 1st year of his class does not indicate any abnormally.
RTE changes the admission - norm time to time and such changes are applicable forthe current year ie 2018 - 2019 and so your wards don't come within the preview of newly promulgated rule.
You need not think unnecessarily on this account.

If we see the ages of your Kids, there are no problems regarding their age. They are in the correct age only. 2008 born girl is now in 6th class. That means by the time she completes her 10th class the will be completing 15 Years of age. Similarly, the boy also completes his 10th class when he is running 16th year. These are the correct ages. At the time of admission also they schools will observe their ages and inform the parents if any difference is there. So there is no necessity to worry on this front. Please see that they will concentrate on their studies.

Nowadays, most schools are very strict at the time of enrollment to 1st standard about the age criteria. In India, most schools follow the KV age guidelines. The admission age slightly varies from state to state. For instance, the CBSE has no prescribed age BUT the student should meet the state or union territory recommendations. (http://www.cbse.nic.in/faq/FAQs_2016.pdf).

The minimum age for admission to I standard is 5 years on 31st of March in the year of admission.
Your son's date of birth is 30th March 2013. He would be eligible for the 10 th board in due time.

The minimum age for admission in X std is 14 years as of 31st March on that year.
Your daughter's date of birth is 21st Jan 2008 and she is in VI std, she would be in X standard in 2022. Going by her date of birth, she would be 14 years in 2022. So, it should be fine.

For admissions under RTE , the rules keep changing, the minimum age for 1st std was 5 years(2015-16), 5 yr 2 months(16-17), 5 yr 4 months(17-18) and 5yrs 8 months this academic year. But this exempts the older students already in the system. Current rules will be applicable to the students who are taking admissions now. The students who are already studying had taken admission as per the earlier regulation.

So apparently there is no problem in your case. The another check up is that the eligible age for class 10 is 15 years which is also matching in your case.

So everything is in place and there is nothing to worry.
