Was Jesus(pbuh) realy crucified?

Date: 19 May 2009   Group: Religion    Category: Christianity

"THE DEATH OF JESUS ON THE CROSS IS THE CENTRE OF ALL CHRISTIAN THEOLOGY. . . ALL CHRISTIAN STATEMENTS ABOUT GOD, ABOUT CREATION, ABOUT SIN AND DEATH HAVE THEIR FOCAL POINT IN THE CRUCIFIED CHRIST. ALL CHRISTIAN STATEMENTS ABOUT HISTORY, ABOUT THE CHURCH, ABOUT FAITH AND SANCTIFICATION, ABOUT THE FUTURE AND ABOUT HOPE STEM FROM THE CRUCIFIED CHRIST", says Professor Jurgen Moltmann in his — "The Crucified God".1
1. "GOD": The bulk of Christendom accept Jesus Christ as God incarnate — God in human flesh. According to the Christian dogma, Jesus must die as God, for a million human sacrifices cannot redeem mankind from their sin.

Hello Arshad Ali,

It is a good question that you have asked. Yes Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross for the redemption of all the sins which mankind had made. This is the truth and also the strong foundation for the christian faith, doctrine, theology, creation, church etc.

It was very clear in the history of every religious book that there should be a holy blood sacrifice of a human who was pure to cleanse all the sin of this world. So it was fulfilled through the only blood of Jesus Christ as he was holy and righteous.

Jesus never came in this world to say that he was the only God and people should worship him. He just came for the only one cause that was to die for this world. He rose again on the 3rd day which shakes the pillars of the history as nothing happened like this before. He proved that he was God by his resurection.

The choice is a person's decision to decide what he believes is true or not. But the truth never dies and lie never has a longlife.

God bless

Yes, Jesus Christ was crucified and resurrected after three days.God has created man without sin. But he disobeyed God's word.To redeem man from his sin,a holy sacrifice has to be done. For this, God sent jesus Christ to the earth in flesh and let Him die with our hand.So for once a holy blood was poured for redemption of mankind and anyone who believes in Jesus and His crucifixion shall be redeemed.
If I may ask,why this question arise? Is it a clear evidence for His crucifixion? It was not happened a billion or million years ago. It was happened just two thousand years ago and have history records.

Yes, redemption of man from sin happen only through a sacrifice. Before Jesus, people offered sacrifices to please God as a way to Moksha. Once and for all Jesus offered himself as a sacrifice for the human not for those desciples or Christians who followed him but for all human race in the present and also for those to be born in the future.
He is sitting at the right hand of God and interceding for us - He is the one and only intercessor.
Above all He is sure to come again as the King of Kings to gather his flock from this agonising world to live with Him forever in Eternity-- this is the hope that keep us going.. amidst all ups and downs in this world.
At the end whosoever believes in Him shall reign with Him and who despises Him will be in Hell with Satan and his crew.
So choice is yours.. Eternity? or Eternal death? May God bless you and your loved ones.

Its a History not merely a belief that Jesus was crucified. The christian belief is Christ born to die for the sin of whole man kind and to fulfill the desire of Father God.Its what the death of Jesus Christ made the time cycle to move on basis of B.C and A.C.
Even there are many historical proofs for Christ's crucification. In christian doctrine cricification and resurrection of Christ is one of the important one.
A true Christian cannot leave in this world accepting the fact that Christ is crucified and then resurrected .

Jesus, a Muslim, was Neither Killed, nor Crucified.

We have seen that Jesus (pbuh) greeted his disciples like a Muslim, by saying: “Peace be unto you”, when he appeared before them after his so-called ‘resurrection’ (John 20:19). Muslims use the same words to greet, (but in Arabic): Assalaamu Alaikum.

We have also seen that the utterances of Jesus have been supportive of and predicting about the rise of Muhammad (pbuh), and through him the belief Islam and the believing nation of Muslims, to which his followers are required to join.

In John 16: 12 & 13, Jesus says:

“I have yet many things to say unto you,

but you cannot bear them now.

Howbeit when he, the spirit of truth, is come,

He will guide you into all truth; ”
