What is the salary of engineering college lectures as per AICTE nomes?

Hi,
Salary of engineering college as a lectures is depend upon the experience and knowledge.
Assistant Lecturer: min 7000, max 12000 or more
Lecturer : min 11000, max 20000 or more
but it also depend upon branch and your qualification.

Salary of engineering college professor depends on his experience and qualification.
A person with just B.Tech/B.E degree is given a position of Assistant Professor whose salary is 8,000
A person with M.Tech degree and who has a experience of less than 5 years in teaching field is given a position of Associate Professor whose salary ranges from 8,000 to 12,000
A person with M.Tech degree and who has a experience of more than 10 years in teaching field is given a position of HOD whose salary ranges from 12,000 to 20,000 and finally it also depends on the in which he/she is working.

management plays an for a college to build up..So, by keeping in that mind...even for an fresher they are paying min of 10,000Rs...

for an experienced candidate they are paying 15,000 ranges

and at the same time it depends upon the college...for well known colleges they hiked the salaries ...

Hello,
As far as Teaching post is concerned following are the present pay scale as per AICETE norms.

Lecturer: Basic salary 8,000 + DA+ HRA
Qualification for lecturer;UG First Class with technical skills.

Senior Lecturer: Basic 10,000 + DA + HRA
Qualification ;UG first Class with 5 Years of teaching experience

Assistant Professor: 12,000 + DA+ HRA
Qualification: First Class B.E degree + M.tech + 2 years of teaching experience.

Professor: 16,000 + DA + HRA
Qualification: First Class B.E degree with PhD (must) + 10 years of teaching experience.

NOTE;
1.DA and HRA (Both in percentage ) is same from Lecturer to Professor level.
2. DA and HRA varies from college to college and from rural to urban.

It depends upon the qualification of the staffs also.

Like

For M-Tech holder in lecturer field will recive a pay band of Rs(15600 - 39100).

For B-Tech holder Rs 21435/-

The starting salary will be Rs. 12,000/- for the experience ones, but for the new faculty it would be Rs. 8,000/-. Once they started to show performance, the salary will be raised annually

The following are the payments for engineering college students according to AICTE norms which the government has declared on dec 1st, 2008
Only 3 designations for teachers:

1.Assistant professor.
2.Associate professor.
3.Profesor.

The payment of teachers shall be fixed in two pay bands
(i) Rs. 15600-39100
(ii) Rs. 37400-67000
with appropriate "Academic Grade Pay" (AGP).

Salary of professor depends on experience and qualification.
A person with B.Tech/B.E degree is given a salary of 8,000
A person with M.Tech degree ,experience of less than 5 years is given a salary of 8,000 to 12,000 and experience of more than 10 years given a position of HOD whose salary ranges from 12,000 to 20,000.
