All you have to do is to visit your nearest marriage registry office. The Registrar would ask you to serve a notice, wait for a month and give you a date. On that day, you and your spouse would go there along with witnesses (some responsible citizens) and fill up some forms and put your signatures in presence of witnesses. That is all there is.
No, you do not have to pay any late fee.

You can register your marriage now with the nearest register office by taking your wife with two witnesses and as documents you take both of your residential identity(ration card/voter identity card),marriage invitation, proof for age (both of you).
You have to apply for this in the prescribed form(available with the registerar office itself). After remitting the prescribed fee,you will be issued the marriage certificate on the date mentioned by them.

Firstly you will have to register your marriage with the Sub Registrar of your Gram Panchayat for which both of you (you and your spouse) will be required to furnish an affidavit to this effect that you both have married in 2007 and also to state the reason for the delay. Afte getting it registered there the same authority will give you a certificate to this effect whereafter you will be required to strike out your registration in your concerned Panchayat and apply afresh on the basis of earlier certificate in Mumbai under the Municipal/Urban area in which you are residing. Please check with the local law of Maharashtra whether it allows your registration there or not as some states do not allow it as it is within the sphere of the local laws.

    hi,
    if you live in city,
then go to the registrar office with your wife, also take documents like residential proof of both, identity card(license etc.), and age proof, invitation card of your marriage, witness.
and the registrar give you a date, on that date collect your MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE.

    if you live in village,
then go to the panchayat and do the same as written above.

For registration of marriage first you need to go to a lawyer.

You need to bring following proofs with you.

    1. Photo ID of both bride and groom (election card, passport)
    2. School living certificate of both, bride and groom
    3. Passport size photo of both, bride and groom
    4. A couple photo where both bride and groom are present with a
    'var-mala' in neck.
    5. 2 witnesses, one from bride's side and one from Groom's side
    6. Photo ID of witnesses

Now a Notarized Lawyer will prepare legal documents in writing and notarized them.

Then you will have to go to the local registrar office and give your documents. Registrar will verify them and then will ask to sign again in-front of him. So, witnesses even have to be present there.

Then after a week you will get a marriage certificate.

plz visit register office to get information about reg process

    hi

I experienced the same. My problem was with address proof. If you changed the home address present to previous , you must carry the proof of previous address.

And go to marriage registrars with some witnesses close relation as well as neighbours. Hopefully within a week you may get the marriage certificate. Make sure your name and your spouse name entered without any spelling mistakes.
