Herold Victor, It is not that difficult to deciding on a career>!
All you need to consider is: what is your field of interest? You must not go by what you friends decide or be under pressure from your family members to decide. Merely because your parents are doctors, for example, does not mean that you too need to pursue the same.
If you are unsure, you should definitely attend an Education Fair. The Fair will get you in touch with lots of institutes and courses that will help you decide on a career option.
Above all, you need to have faith and confidence in yourself, the determination to pursue what interests you, and tons of hard work to achieve your career goals.
Regards, Vandana

Hi Herold,
SSC is the base and now one should start building the career in such a way that during the next five years as you said it gives fruitful results in terms of satisfaction mentally and monetary as well. Which career to opt for and What after SSC is a very difficult question to answer.
As rightly suggested by Vandana, refer such educational fairs and don't hesitate to meet a career counselor to find out your interest, aptitude and growth in that career.

Hi herold , You Are the own judge of your strength and weakness. If You want to go for be/b.tech make admission to science and preparing for entrance in good engineering college. If you are interest in medical line, then go for preparing for medical entrance. If you are interest in civil service then try with your favorite subject. You are the best judge of your caliber.
Tell about Your dream , so that you can get proper advice

Hi Herold,
First off, I would like to say that this is the most common question which you will have to answer to yourself, your parents and teachers and also to anyone here, this reminds my childhood, When I was in Class X, I too were confused, regarding my career. Well, selecting any course is easy but you know selecting the right course is not an easy task. All you need a proper guidance.
I believe studying pre-university, 11th or plus 1 is a good option after 10th since the syllabus here is informative, exhaustive and a strong foundation for further studies - graduation and post graduation.
Please keep in mind if you select science, you have an option to come back to commerce or arts field after PUC and also any time. If you select commerce, you cannot go to science field, but can select courses in arts field after PUC.
One more thing I would like to tell you that make sure that you do not select Science or Commerce or Arts just because a seat is available in some college, your friend studies there or your any relative or your uncle or aunty is a lecturer and all other wrong reasons. Please have a valid reason, consider your scores in 10th std, your aptitude and a purpose for selecting the course.
Well Herold, honestly, I would just add something for you, to be in this world and achieve something, one of the most important factors is your Career.
Best of Luck, Aira

Hello Victor, It is not difficult to deciding on a career after 10th.
you need to consider is: what is your field of interest? once you clear with this you get open option left for you to choose your next career plan or study. You may also take some suggestion from your elder brothers. because even they faced this problem in earlier of their career plans and also they will have clear idea about today market condition and also some idea about tomorrow market condition. because once if you entered wrong path its very difficult get to right way. hope you will ask many before taking some decision.

If you interested in Engineering then Complete either Diploma Certification or Chose Higher Secondary (Science Stream) so you will have maximum options available. You can go for the B.Sc., Or you can take an I.T.I. course to develope your electrical skills.
If you are not interested in this Science or Maths related categories then You have two more options available.
Higher Secondary (Commerce Stream) ! Bachelor Degree ! ! ! B.Com. B.B.A. B.C.A.
Higher Secondary (Arts Stream) ! B.A.
The two thing I would like to suggest would be Dont affraid of Arts coz if you get B.A. Degree with English Specialisation, That would be more powerfull degree compare to any degree in Commerce Stream. If you complete M.A. with English Specialisation then that will make your Resume Impressive and I am sure that you can get a very good job at an Educational Level.
The second thing would be Do Not Select your career as your friend select his career. Please Do Not Follow him. Just Follow your Interest related career, If your parents or relatives try to Pressure you for particular stream then first try to explain why you chose your own career coz you will be the one who will study it not they are and coz you are interested in particular subjects or stream. ALWAYS TRY TO LEAD INSTEAD FOLLOW. Source(s): Experienced Student-----> Experienced Professional
