A Domicile/Residence Certificate is generally issued to prove that the person bearing the Certificate is a Domicile/Resident of the State/UT by which the Certificate is being issued. This Certificate is required as proof of residence to avail Domicile/Resident Quotas in educational institutions and in the Government Service, as also in case of jobs where local residents are preferred. So i think your daughter require Domicile certificate.

Domicile certificate is very much necessary for your daughter to continue engineering studies in any state.. an domicile certificate can be got nearby Panchayat office.. but she can get admissions in engineering studies like other open category students..

Domicile certificate is very much necessary for your daughter to continue engineering studies in Maharashtra.
The requirement for domecile certificate is as below
1) The person applying for the domecile certificate should have have resided in that state for more than 15 years. The documantary evidence of this is to be submitted with the application, i. e.
a) Date of birth certificate
b) School leaving certificates from first on wards.
c) Cretificate from panchayat / municipality where parents are living.
d) Proof of residence i.e. Ration card in which name of applicant should be there.
If your daughter is fulfilling above criterias she will get the domecile certificate
How to get Domecile certificate?
You can get application for domecile certificate from Taluk TAHASHILDAR office through SETU where you are living.
Fill the form and attach necessary certificates as mentioned above, and submit the form. If your daughter is fulfilling the above criteria she will certainly get the the domecile certifictae with in month.
