IN MSOFFICE-2003:

1.click Format|Font
2.Click 'Hidden' in the Effects section
3.Click OK
4.To make it visible again press CTRL+A

IN MSOFFICE-2007:

1.Select the text that needs to be hidden
2.Click 'HOME' tab
3.Under 'Font' click on font tab
4.Then Follow the steps in the 2003.
