1.Select 'Run'
2.Type 'regedit' and click ok
3.navigate to the key 'HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\.avi\shellex\PropertyHandler
4.Right click on 'Default' and delete it.
5.click on YES and close it.

If you have the videos with multiple formats it slows down Explorer
In that case
1.select 'Run'
2.enter 'regsvr32.exe/u shmedia.dll'
3.Confirm Ok

you can even undo the above process by just
1.'regsvr32.exe shmedia.dll' in the RUN dialogbox.

Think this helps the people who has the passion for movies.
