As far as I understand , the legal executives are interface between the company for which they work and the lawyers representing the company in the courts of law. Such individuals should also be legally qualified having a law degree like L.L.B. /L.L.M. etc. For appearance in the courts, the lawyers are required to be registered with the Bar Council of India. However in case the legal executive are not required to appear in the court personally, then perhaps it may not be necessary for them to be registered with the Bar Council of India. Their nature of job may be to draft, review and negotiate a variety of contracts, agreements, petitions and such other legal documents. They may be required to efficiently handle litigation cases and diligently follow up legal cases till disposal.
