Maoist-turned gangster Mohammed Nayeemuddin shot dead. He led life with high police and others help

Gangster Nayeem who is wanted by the CBI in connection with Sohrabuddin Sheikh's 'encounter' case in Gujarat, and several other murders in Hyderabad and Nalgonda dist was shot dead by the police in a encounter. He led a lavish life through land settlement and on seizing his diary and laptop the investigating agency found that more than 12 IAS officers and high police officers and politicians took favor from him and the CBI is going to take actions against them. It seems to be dirty under hand dealings done by Nayeem under the patronage of Police. Any comment ?

It is really good that the criminal has finally been eliminated. The Government must now take up the matter against Govt. functionaries who took favour from this criminal

Mohammed Nayeemuddin was wanted by the CBI in connection with Sohrabuddin Sheikh's 'encounter' case in Gujarat. He was leading an underground life for over two decades and was an accused in over 15 murder cases, including that of an IPS officer K S Vyas in 1993. He was arrested on February 12, 1993 and had made a dramatic escape in the year 2007, from a court and since then was underground. He was a member of the People's War Group (PWG) action team that killed IPS officer K S Vyas at Lal Bahadur Stadium on January 27, 1993.
A controversial IPS officer allegedly had an alliance with him for land-grabbing activity on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
