    River Krishna celebrates Pushkaralu in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States

    River Krishna, the fourth largest river in India celebrates its pushkaralu from 12th August to 25th August. This pushkaralu for this river or any other holy river in India comes once in every twelve years. This river originates from Mahabaleswar of Maharashtra and flows through Karnataka and A.P. and finally exit into Bay of Bengal. The river flows through much parts of Krishna and Guntur districts of A.P. providing irrigation facility to lakhs of acres and providing drinking water for these coastal districts. The main stage for the celebrations of this pushkaralu is in Vijayawada and Guntur districts. A,P. has made elaborate arrangements for the pilgrims to have holy dip in river krishna and to do various rituals to be performed during these pushkaralu. A total of 170 pushkara ghats were constructed in Krishna, Guntur and Kurnool districts together.

    There is already a thread created in morning by Mohanji: Krishna Pushkarams begin- CM's of Telangana and AP had first holy dip in the river..
    I think you might not have seen this.
    I wish all the devotees from India those who're attending the Puskar at Krishna River.
