No medal in Rio Olympics 2016; Who is responsible for this?

No medal in Rio Olympics 2016 Who is responsible for this? Its being all wasting of money this year.

You, me and every one is responsible for this kind of zero performance so far at the Olympics. We have the very bad habit of preparing to Olympics at the eleventh hour and some participants were not sure of even going there as their travel arrangements were not pucca and that was the laxity from the government. Moreover getting in competition level of Olympics invites guts and courage to face the fora of International players and thus the Infrastructures available with us is far below International standards and in that situation we cannot get into medal claiming levels. Nevertheless some players are trying their level best on their personal playing skill and hopefully some medals would be coming before closing of Rio Olympics.

Perhaps it is the right time to initiate the process of conducting postmortem as usual. Now, our intellectual power will come in its full glory in devising ingenious logics for our inability to win any medal despite the fact that this year the largest ever contingent was sent to participate in the Olympics.

All media including print media, electronic media and internet media will now present critical in-depth studies as usual. Many scholarly articles will appear flashing our deep understanding of the underlying issues and routine stuff like bureaucratic hurdles etc. One of the reasons to be highlighted has to be the fact that the players were sent in economy class though the officials travelled in business class.

In a country where it openly came in media that attempts were made to deprive one of the wrestlers to not to participate in the games by resorting to a scheme and where athletes file petitions in the courts for allowing them to participate in the games, what else can be expected.

Let us encourage each other in sharing knowledge.

There are many aspects of winning or losing. As we're discussing about Indian Olympians and Olympics; some of the facets which I'd like to illustrate here.

    1. Time zone: When a player travels from one standard time to other/opposite time, it affects to his nature of practice and performance due to short and immediate changing in timing habits.

    2. Management: Management is somehow responsible for the team; as I've posted earlier about Dutee Chand who's complained about improper and unsatisfied facilities during long journey. When a candidate's coach is not going with him/her, how could his/her enthusiasm increase; as Indian management and ministers are busy with fighting and misbehaving the hoisting management?

    3. Insufficient time for practice: For qualifying to Olympic there must be a selection process before one/two year, so that the athletes and sports persons could practice well without concentrating anywhere. And, before six/three month to Olympic again they'll attend a qualifying test in India and focus fully. Then it comes to facilities provided by the department.

    4. Facility: We need to sure about the government sport authority is providing sufficient facility to its athletes or not. If not then they must not depend upon the government, they can take any sponsor or ask their local MPs/MLAs for the developments and needs immediately.

    5. Personal Development: Personal development is nothing but a kind of mindset that enables a sportsperson without diverting anywhere, focusing to their event, by giving adequate energy to mind and body. They must attend such mind classes, which are provided in many other countries by our Yoga Gurus; but Indian athletes are unaware of it.

This is a very old problem of India, politics factor causes many things let down for the people of India. In fact talent is also a factor, I know that India has many talented person, but because of some evil politicians our good eligible sport person don't get chance to show their talent and some of the middle talented person get the chance and result in no win in their hands, so the main factor in which we all will agree is politics and wrong selection of some people, and we should not forget that there are some who should some effort to win the medal but unfortunately none of them came in our hand, so the only thing which we can do is pray and pray, so that our politics zone can become serious about their right choice in selecting the right candidate of eligible and very talented person who will make sure that we will get to see gold in their hands.

In India, sports are not considered as a field. Instead, they are considered as just an entertainment. Recently, the trailer of 'M S Dhoni : Untold Story' is released. It shows that the talented cricketer worked as a ticket collector before. That happened because nobody considered sports as a way of being successful in life. Another example is the case of Dutee Chand, the national champion of woman 100 meters running. She took three planes to reach Rio. She was allotted economy class tickets where the authorities were allotted business class tickets. The one who should perform is not cared but the ones who just see everything are cared. In addition to all these, being successful in sports require lots of hard work and determination. These may be the reasons for Indians not being successful in Olympics.

Poor India; poor health; poor sportsman spirit; poor representation; poor players; very poor results.
The poor remain poor forever in all areas of life. Sports is not an exemption to this.

It seems our feelings are being heard and the players at the Olympics representing India are also equally worried over dismal performance so far. But P V Sindhu is the ray of hope for Indian in Batminton section as she is through to semis and a bronze medal is for sure. If she defeats the opponent, then even gold or silver is guaranteed and for sure.
