Who could be the author of the thread titles? - Sun Quiz

    Members,
It is quiz time to enjoy. I have created seven thread titles born out of my imagination that would be relevant to seven ISC forum active members. Please guess the names of the member author befitting the titles.

    1. It is not a healthy practice at ISC.
    2. ISC should do something now .
    3. If nothing can be done, this can always be done.
    4. A story that was told by my grandma.
    5. Peanuts and its health effect.
    6. The peculiarities of number nine.
    7. A thing that was found in the jungle by a politician.

@ This is merely a fun thread. All correct guesses will be awarded.

    # Answer is deposited with an Editor for safe custody to avoid any foul play while declaring result.

Just for the sake of participation in this fun thread, my totally blind guesses are as follows -
    1. It is not a healthy practice at ISC. (Saji Ganesh)
    2. ISC should do something now . (Mohan Ji)
    3. If nothing can be done, this can always be done. (Venkiteswaran Ji)
    4. A story that was told by my grandma. (Partha Kansabanik)
    5. Peanuts and its health effect. (Ramakrishna Kambhampati)
    6. The peculiarities of number nine. (Saroja Ji)
    7. A thing that was found in the jungle by a politician. (Partha Kansabanik)

However, since the given thread titles are an imagination of the author of the thread himself, there cannot be any correct answer. Therefore, the whole contest appears to be a farce.

Let us encourage each other in sharing knowledge.

Yes the thread is really interesting. And I really felt happy when I see most of the members put my name against the thread on numbers but actually I have changed because though I use numbers in my threads but for this title I have checked many authors titles and found one similar to this is 'Specialities of number nineteen' by R. Pattabiraman but still I have quoted another name which I feel that member is also coming up with similar kind. I thought since I am not very active now and hence Sun would not put my thread as newbies might not know about me.

All the best for members as it may give some practice to members to take part in on coming contest by ME.

Nice to be in ISC and feel the difference.

  • #577108
Mr. Sun: So far as the correct reply is concerned the following title is assigned to me:

"A story that was told by my grandma.( Partha Kansabanik)"

In this connection, I would like to state that I am so unfortunate that I haven't seen my grandmother. My paternal grandmother left this world in 1940 when my father was only 9 year old. My maternal grandmother left the world in 1973, when I was less than 6. I didn't get any opportunity to listen to any story either from my paternal grandmother or from my maternal grandmother.

I am congratulating Mr. Mohan, who is the winner of the contest, and Mr. Behera, the runner-up.

    Partha,
Sorry to know that you had not seen your grand parents and enjoyed their bed time stories. I too sail on the same boat. Never mind . One can always write a creative story without knowing their grand parents. Would like to read your creative story with the same title.

    Sun,

Since you said you had conceived this out of your imagination, how about explaining how you connected the words of a title with a specific member? I am asking because Nos. 2,3,4 and 7 were not that obvious so would like to know the connections.

Well, matter of fact, I too could not understand the logic behind connecting the clue no. 2 with my name. With no offence meant to disrespect the thread author, I would be glad to know the exact reason.

I would just like to correct myself if I am found to be doing something wrong.

It is purely my thinking and understanding about the members. My explanation may lead to serious discussion and controversy. Let us call it a fun from sun and end it.
