- #577135As per the information displayed on the website of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), information relating to corruption in Central Government departments and Central Public Sector Undertakings can be passed on to them for further necessary action. Also, it is not necessary to physically go to the office of CBI for lodging a complaint. The information can be sent by SMS from a mobile phone or by making a phone call or by sending e-mails or by posting the information/complaint on this website.
However, anonymous or pseudonymous information and complaints are not entertained that the identity and contact details of the complainant are required to be revealed to the CBI. On a request of the complainant, his/her identity is kept secret by the CBI.
