A tip on creating a table in MS Word or Outlook without using Menu

Ever had a problem in getting the right length for your table in MS Word or Outlook? Or, would you rather use a few keystrokes, instead of the menu to create a table.

Let us take an example, to see this tip in action.

Type +———–+—————+———+ and hit ENTER

This will create a 1*3 table. For creating more rows, you can use the TAB key to create more rows.

Note: The ‘+’ sign represents borders and ‘-’ represents the length of columns.
